So today I'm walking down the hallway, minding my own business when what to my wondering ears should I hear but Mello singing Christmas songs in the shower. Well you can't just let an opportunity like that pass you up so I got a digital recorder and caught Oh Holy Night just in time. Check it out. And seriously, listen all the way through. Anyway, since the Christmas bug hit him we're going to steal a tree from some Island and decorate it. He says it's fun. I guess we'll see. Presents and chocolate sound good though. If we stop on that Christmas Island I'm eating people's houses. It's their own fault for living in food.

I was trained to live through poisoning. I had to build up a tolerance. But I was sick as a dog even with small doses for some of them. My sixth birthday sucked.

It was either Illumy or Dad. I can't remember that time. I'd actually gotten it the day before my birthday but I was still sick on my birthday. And then Dad dropped me off at the Heaven's Arena and I wasn't allowed to come home till I reached the 200th level.

But I DID get my new skateboard that year!

??????????? Wow, you were some amazing kid, weren't you? When I was little, Jii-chan used to drop me into all sorts of survival situations, but it wasn't like a forest had 200 levels!!

That's just how the family is.

We had a forest in our yard.

Did you have to fight wild animals or something? I had to fight men. The first fifty levels were ok, but they started getting tough after that. When Gon and I went back last year I can't believe I even struggled with those levels anymore. Guess it just shows how much I've learned.

It never hurts to know how to survive. Well I guess sometimes it does but only while you're learning. Then it's useful knowledge.

When you were only six, really?? You must be strong! Is this like a place especially for training? Wow, I want to go see it!!

It's a place to battle to make money. If you win on the first level you don't even make enough to by a soda. But once you get to level fifty you start making good money. I had over a million by the time I was at level 150.

It's about 500 miles west of Padokea.

I have no idea where that its, but if you can make that much money, maybe Nami will bring us there!! What are the opponents like? Are they interesting? Are they strong?

Some of them are. The ones below about 150 are pretty useless guys though. You have to work your way up to the decent fighters. Be careful once you hit 200, there's some lameasses who could barely make it that far and they totally try to feed off the newbies.
